HISTORY OF
IMPERIAL POOLS:

Imperial Pools was opened in 1970 as Quality Pools and Service, by Robert Walsh, III (current owner’s Father).  In 1977, after
leaving NASA when the Apollo Mission ended, Robert Walsh, II, joined his son, Robert Walsh, III, starting a dealership for inground
steel pools.  They began wholesaling pools in 1977, and were the West Coast distributors for Imperial Pool Kits until 1997. On the
average they wholesaled 300- 350 pool kits a year.

Imperial Pools introduced inground vinyl pools to the Inland Northwest.  Now the company is focused on retail inground sales, under
Robert Walsh, IV.  This three-generation company has built many award winning swimming pools, both custom gunite and inground.
Imperial Pools have been featured in papers and magazines in the Inland Northwest.

Imperial Pools has sold more pools, both wholesale and retail than all of the competition combined.  In 40 years, over 1,000 Imperial
Pools have been built in the Inland Northwest, including 750 in the Spokane area alone.
